Young Performers Drama Class for Ages 4-8
Purpose
A joyful and nurturing class combining acting, singing and dancing. Through positive encouragement and time taken to truly understand each child, confidence grows naturally alongside valuable performance skills.
About This Gathering
These weekly lessons for children in Reception through to Year 3 run during school term time on a Monday and usually follow a 12-week programme.
Alongside core classes, children can perform in fully costumed and staged showcases, take part in drama festivals, attend TV and film workshops, and join the hugely popular ‘Play in a Week’ summer school.
Coming for the First Time? All new students are given a warm welcome and gently introduced to the class. A regular class member is assigned as a ‘buddy’ to help them settle in, feel comfortable, and get involved from the start.
Other Courses If singing and dancing aren’t your thing, there are also acting classes held on Tuesdays.

About the Organisation
Pure Drama is an independent, family-run school led by Lizzie Frances BA (Hons) MSTSD, a professional actor, director, agent, and drama teacher. Lizzie trained with the National Youth Theatre and the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, and has extensive experience preparing pupils for drama festivals and securing places at leading drama schools. Lizzie, who also provides LAMDA tuition in preparation for exams, has written and directed numerous youth theatre productions, films, and summer schools, and is mum to three budding performers.
